A Figment was born...
Figment Technologies Inc. (Figment) is a successful software development company that started off with a focus on computer telephony integration (CTI). A privately held company, incorporated in 1994, Figment started operations by providing TCPIP based enterprise network solutions, along with voice mail and fax servers.
Enters Unified Messaging
Figment helped UniExchange Corporation develop a single software solution and entered the Unified Messaging market. Its product won multiple consecutive awards for its forward thinking web based administrative interfaces ahead of all its major competitors at the time who were still using Microsoft Windows based interfaces for their unified messaging software.
FigmentSoft & CRM
Entering the world of Customer Relationship Management (CRM), FigmentSoft Inc. was created to facilitate the introduction of our business management software offering called FigmentComplete. FigmentSoft partnered with AccPac to deliver this offering for small / medium businesses.
Partnered with 1CTI
In working in conjunction with 1CTI staff, Figment Technologies Inc. helped prototype and delivered voice messaging products to Panasonic USA, Adtran, and Bicom.
Entering age of VoIP
Figment Technologies entered the age of Voice over IP (VoIP) by prototyping its own server / client based telephony infrastructure complete with IVR and an integrated call debiting system.
Venturing with Itibiti
Leveraging the Voice over IP infrastructure experience, Figment Technologies ventured with Itibiti to deliver a calling card application along with a VoIP soft phone capable of delivering video advertising as a collateral for free long distance calling offered by Itibiti.
Intertainment Acquisition
Figment Technologies Inc furthered the development of of the Itibiti phone by integrating an embedded browser thus allowing social media integration along with advertising thus enabling the entire platform to be used by third party. In mid 2009, Intertainment acquired the intellectual property assets.
Taking Care of Business...
In 2017, Figment Technologies started development on a new business management software based on their legacy FIRM (Figment Information & Resource Management) prototype. The management software helps small and medium sized businesses to connect their otherwise disconnected technologies. This helps small and mid-sized businesses save time and improve efficiencies to their business processes.
